[GR Korea Successfully Co-hosts Korea–UK AI Policy Breakfast]
- GR Korea × BCCK | Breakfast & Politics -

On November 5, GR Korea and the British Chamber of Commerce in Korea (BCCK) co-hosted a breakfast briefing that brought together leading policymakers and AI experts from Korea and the UK to discuss national AI strategies, industry priorities, and opportunities for bilateral cooperation.

Following the welcoming remarks by British Ambassador Colin Crooks LVO, National Assembly Member Jeongheon Lee delivered a keynote address highlighting the need for policies that encourage AI innovation and investment, alongside effective regulatory frameworks to address emerging risks.

The panel discussion, moderated by Juyun Moon, Executive Director and Head of Operations at GR Korea, featured Dr. Ben Spencer MP, Professor Sungeun Hong of Sungkyunkwan University, and Dr. Wontae Lee, Chair of the Special Committee on Security at the National AI Strategy Committee. The discussion explored key policy priorities, including AI governance, real-world adoption, safety and security, and opportunities for Korea-UK cooperation.

We would like to thank BCCK and all participants for contributing to a meaningful exchange on the future of AI policy and cooperation.
